Blake Alexis Bolden is a Mentor, Performance Coach, Professional Athlete, and scout for the Los Angeles Kings. Known as the Jackie Robinson of women’s hockey, she has broken many barriers and achieved many firsts in the sport of ice hockey.
In 2015, Blake became the first Black player to compete in the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL). She is a World Champion representing the United States, a 4X All-Star, claiming her hardest shot title for 2 consecutive years, NWHL Champion, Defensive MVP, a Division I All-American from Boston College, and a true role model and spokesperson for girls and women in sport. Blake prides herself on trailblazing a path for women of color in hockey and using her experiences which have shaped her perspective on success, fulfillment, failure, and getting outside of one’s comfort zone to help others
