Playing Background: I grew up in Lake Forest, IL where I played boys and girls hockey until high school. I attended The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, CT. for all 4 years of high school. There, I played for the Bearcats, as well at the Midfairfield CT Stars. I went on to play my freshman and sophomore years at Colgate University, and then transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to finish up my junior and senior years where I was assistant captain my senior year. After college, I moved to Europe for two years, playing my first season for DEC Salzburg Eagles in Salzburg, Austria, and my second season for Hockey Club Lugano in Lugano, Switzerland. I then moved to Connecticut to play in the first season of the National Women’s Hockey League. I have been a member of the Connecticut Whale all 5 seasons of the NWHL, assistant captain and 2x all-star.
Coaching Background: I have been coaching teams, camps, clinics and skill sessions for over 12 years. During my time in Connecticut, I have been a hockey director, run my own summer camps, put on my own skill and age specific clinics, private lesson instructor and team coach. I coach all ages and skill levels up to and including NCAA college level players. My specialties include the following: skating and edgework, puck control and position specific skill work. Player development is something I am passionate about, and I am grateful to be able to share my knowledge and experience!

Defenders: Players looking to work on offensive blue line movement, quick shot release from the point, smooth puck protection/control in defensive zone, footwork/body positioning in the defensive zone
Forwards: Zone entry options, 1 v 1 concepts, puck control and puck protection, goal scoring, shooting concepts
General Skills: Stick handling and puck control, small area play/creativity, zone entry, power skating and edge work
